After being a consultant in tourism, heritage and sustainable development, Malika Hamza took a turn in 2004. She is now a successful recipe writer, food stylist, journalist specialized in coverage of local producers, author of cook books, consultant in sustainable gastronomy, and organizer of food events.

Malika is involved in promoting good, clean and fair food. She is one of the founding members of Slow Food Brussels which she chaired from 2007 until 2011.
